I love sunny afternoons

Grasses

I've just picked some grasses from the garden, so think I'll spend a bit of timing drawing them.

Favourite from the RCA show 2012

Module from 2D to 3DSmall Scale, Camille Flammarion, Glazed earthenware

Last night I went to the RCA show with my mum, a familly tradition of ours.
And my favourite stand was, Camille Flammarion.  She made these brilliant modular stacking pots.
They can be used as plantpots or storage jars.
She had also made giant ones that could be used as larger storage
or seating....genius!  I loved the colours, and I think its a fantastic idea,
I hope she does well.....
where and when will I be able to buy them !

Today I want....

Donna Wilsons Frank pouffe in Zig Zag!
I think it would finish our living room off a treat!

Nice Colours

I don't really want to be filling my blog with pictures of myself, and don't worry, I won't be subjecting you to such a thing!  But I liked the colour combination of my outfit today...yes those who know me well,  know I  wear my yellow cardigan all the time!  But I liked it with the green and grey!
Also if you look closely, yes that is a bit of copper pipe!  We are just about to have our radiators plumbed in! xx

Moonrise Kingdom (my new favourite film xx)

Lewisham Village!

As you may or may not know, I live in Lewisham.  Its a small town in SE London.  I love it, it is a lively and an endlessly surprising place, riots or no riots...its our home and I want to share the love!
I decided to start a campaign to make Lewisham a Village....tricky I know, but I thought I would give it a go!  I like the idea that anyone can influence their community.  I met a neighbor yesterday who inspired me.
He had campaigned for 20 years for the Lewisham rivers to be restored, and after a hard campaign, and a lot of meetings it worked!  Here is a link

I wanted to share this with you.....anything is possible if you set your mind to it xxx

Me and James had a lovely weekend staying in this hut!
We enjoyed it so much....the walks, the afternoon tea, the organic breakfast,
and the most amazing, interesting host.
We would highly recommend a break in the hut.....
